QoL and Bug Fixes


Unless more bugs/quality of life fixes come to light, or I decide to add small things such as doors functioning, audio, or more flavor/story text, this will probably be the last update before the full game release. See you in October! ^^

QoL Changes:

  • Hallway now leads to the living room instead of the closet to make it more consistent
  • Attic hitbox is now larger
  • Increased sensitivity of scrolling speed
  • Scrolling works even if you aren't hovering over phone

Bug Fixes:

  • Car is now clickable after Day 1
  • Text "Go to Sleep" when hovering on bed changed for Day 3 to indicate you can no longer sleep

Additions:

  • An end message displays to make it clear to the player that they've reached the end of the demo
  • Added a layer of fog/mist to make the nightmare state more apparent

Note: I had the original version that I uploaded before Game Jam hidden, and then I accidentally overwrote it because I did not fully understand how updating files worked :') At least now I know that I only need to reupload the file rather than deleting the old one and uploading the new one!
